[These are they whom the LORD hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.] [11 And they answered the angel of the LORD that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.](Zechariah 1:7-11)

Dharma Ultimate Law Of All Things; Hukum Di atas Segala Sesuatu (H)

Dharma (Sanskrit: dhárma, Pāḷi dhamma) is an Indian spiritual and religious term that means one’s righteous duty, or any virtuous path. A Hindu’s dharma is affected by a person’s age, class, occupation, and gender. In Indian languages it can be equivalent simply to religion, depending on context. The word dharma translates as that which upholds or supports, and is generally translated into English as law.

According to the various Indian religions, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism, beings that live in accordance with Dharma proceed more quickly toward dharma yukam, moksha or nirvana (personal liberation). The antonym of dharma is adharma meaning unnatural or immoral.

In traditional Hindu society, dharma has historically denoted a variety of ideas, such as Vedic ritual, ethical conduct, caste rules, and civil and criminal law. Its most common meaning however pertains to two principal ideals: that social life should be structured through well-defined and well-regulated classes (varna), and that an individual’s life within a class should be organized into defined stages (ashrama, see dharmasastra).

Dharma also refers to the teachings and doctrines of the founders of Buddhism and Jainism, the Buddha and Mahavira. In Buddhist philosophy, dhamma/dharma is also the term for “phenomenon”. Dharma also means “mental contents,” and is paired with citta, which means heart-mind.

The pairing is paralleled with the combining of kaya (body) and vedana (feelings or sensations which arise within the body but are experienced through the mind), in major sutras such as the Mahasatipatthana sutra.[Dharma in Wikipedia]

Malays (in Malay: Melayu) are an ethnic group of Austronesian peoples predominantly inhabiting the Malay Peninsula including the southernmost parts of Thailand, the east coast of Sumatra, the coast of Borneo, and the smaller islands which lie between these locations.

The Malay Girls and me...

The Malay ethnic group is distinct from the concept of a Malay race, which encompasses a wider group of people, including most of Indonesia and the Philippines. The Malay language is a member of the Austronesian family of languages.

Nusantara is an Indonesian word for the Indonesian archipelago. Its base meaning in Sanskrit and Indonesian is “archipelago”.Particularly in an historic sense, Indonesians often use the term to refer to the archipelago between the Asian and Australian continents, often referred to as the “Malay Archipelago“.

Malays
both as race and as ethnic live in the Malay Archipelago and speak Malay as their “lingua franca”, although each ethnic group (and even each sub-ethnic group) in the archipelago have their own dialects or language that is often quite different from the Malay language itself.

Once when 8th Imam, Imam Reza (as) was travelling through a town called Nishapur, the people of the town asked Imam Reza (as) to tell them a hadith from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw).

Imam Reza (as) and Hadith Qudsi. Imam Raza (as) told them the following hadith:
“My father Musa al-Kadhim (as) told me,
from his father Jafar Sadiq (as),
from his father Muhammad al-Baqir (as),
from his father Ali Zainul Abideen (as),
from his father the martyr of Kerbala (Hussain) (as),
from his father Ali ibn Abu Talib (as),
from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw).
from Angel Jibrail (as),
from Almighty Allah:

The Kalima of ‘La ilaha illallah‘ is My fort, and whosoever says it will enter My fort, and whosoever enters My fort is safe from My punishment.”

This hadith is known as the Golden chain hadith. This is because each member of the chain was a Masoom (infallible). The people of Nishapur began reciting the Kalima and thought that His Holiness talk was over, but to their amazement the Holy Imam Reza (as) added the following words to what he had previously stated:

“But all this depends on some conditions, and I am considered to be one of those conditions”.

This historical and the most famous Hadith Qudsi is called “Silsilat al-Dhahab”. Imam Reza (as) confirms that worshipping God will be counted as a perfect procedure when it is based on the obedience of the immaculate Holy Imams (as). This historical statement of Imam Reza (as) implied the presentation and assertion of the Imamat (socio-religious leadership) of His Holiness.

The term “Torah” (Hebrew: תּוֹרָה, “teaching” or “instruction”, sometimes translated as “law”, refers either to the Five Books of Moses (or Pentateuch) or to the entirety of Judaism’s founding legal and ethical religious texts. A “Sefer Torah” (סֵפֶר תּוֹרָה, “book of Torah”) or Torah scroll, is a copy of the Torah written on parchment in a formal, traditional manner by a specially trained scribe under very strict requirements.

The Torah is the first of three parts of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), the founding religious document of Judaism, Messiannic, and Hebrew belief, and is divided into five books, whose names in English are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, in reference to their themes (Their Hebrew names, Bereshit, בראשית, Shmot שמות, Vayikra ויקרא, Bamidbar במדבר, and Dvarim דברים, are derived from the wording of their initial verses). The Torah contains a variety of literary genres, including allegories, historical narrative, poetry, genealogy, and the exposition of various types of law. According to rabbinic tradition, the Torah contains the 613 mitzvot (מצוות, “commandments”), which are divided into 365 negative restrictions and 248 positive commands.

Two rabbis are reading Torah

Jewish, Messianic, and Hebrew religious tradition ascribes authorship of the Torah to Moses through a process of divine inspiration. This view of Mosaic authorship is first found explicitly expressed in the Talmud, dating from the 1st to the 6th centuries CE, and is based on textual analysis of passages in the Torah and the subsequent books of the Hebrew Bible.

The Zohar, the most significant text in Jewish mysticism, states that the Torah was created prior to the creation of the world, and that it was used as the blueprint for Creation.

According to dating of the text by Orthodox rabbis the revelation of the Torah to Moses occurred in 1312 BCE at Mount Sinai.Contemporary secular biblical scholars date the completion of the Torah, as well as the prophets and the historical books, no earlier than the Persian period (539 to 334 BCE).

Outside of its central significance in Judaism, Messianic, and Hebraic lifestyles, the Torah is accepted by Christianity as part of the Bible, comprising the first five books of the Old Testament. The various denominations of Jews and Christians hold a diverse spectrum of views regarding the exactitude of scripture. The Torah has also been accepted to varying degrees by the Samaritans, an ethno-religious group of the Levant, and others as the authentic revealed message of YHWH to the early Israelites and as factual history, in both cases as conveyed by Moses.

Meaning and names the word “Torah” in Hebrew “is derived from the root ירה which in the hifil conjugation means “to teach” (cf. Lev. 10:11). The meaning of the word is therefore “teaching,” “doctrine,” or “instruction”; the commonly accepted “law” gives a wrong impression.” Other translational contexts in the English language include custom, theory, guidance, or system. The term “Torah” is therefore also used in the general sense to include both Judaism’s written law and oral law….“Torah” as “Law” may be an obstacle to “understanding the ideal that is summed up in the term talmud torah (תלמוד תורה, “study of Torah,”), characterized in Jewish tradition as excelling all things.”

Islam refers to the Torah as “Tawrat” (توراة, “Law”), an Arabic word for the revelations given to the Islamic prophet “Musa” (موسى, Moses in Arabic). [Torah in Wikipedia]

The Upanishads (Devanagari: उपनिषद्, IAST: upaniṣad, also spelled

“Upanisad” are Hindu scriptures that constitute the core teachings of Vedanta.[1] They do not belong to any particular period of Sanskrit literature: the oldest, such as the Brhadaranyaka and Chandogya Upanishads, date to the late Brahmana period (around the middle of the first millennium BCE), while the latest were composed in the medieval and early modern period

The ninth chapter of the Taittiriya Upanishad says:

“He who knows the Bliss of Brahman (divine consciousness)..does not distress himself with the thought “why did I not do what is good? why did I do what is evil?”. Whoever knows this (bliss) regards both of these as Atman (self, soul), indeed he cherishes both as Atman. Such, indeed, is the Upanishad, the secret knowledge of Brahman.” [Upanishads in Wikipedia]

The Vedas (Sanskrit वेद véda, “knowledge”) are a large body of texts originating in Ancient India. Composed in Vedic Sanskrit, the texts constitute the oldest layer of Sanskrit literature and the oldest scriptures of Hinduism.

The class of “Vedic texts” is aggregated around the four canonical Saṃhitās or Vedas proper (turīya), of which three (traya) are related to the performance of yajna (sacrifice) in historical (Iron Age) Vedic religion:

1. the Rigveda, containing hymns to be recited by the hotṛ;
2. the Yajurveda, containing formulas to be recited by the adhvaryu or officiating priest;
3. the Samaveda, containing formulas to be sung by the udgātṛ.

The fourth is the Atharvaveda, a collection of spells and incantations, apotropaic charms and speculative hymns.

According to Hindu tradition, the Vedas are apauruṣeya “not of human agency”,are supposed to have been directly revealed, and thus are called śruti (“what is heard”).The four Saṃhitās are metrical (with the exception of prose commentary interspersed in the Black Yajurveda). The term saṃhitā literally means “composition, compilation”. The individual verses contained in these compilations are known as mantras. Some selected Vedic mantras are still recited at prayers, religious functions and other auspicious occasions in contemporary Hinduism. [Vedas in Wikipedia]

Religion is the vision of something which stands beyond, behind and within the passing flux of immediate things; something which is real, and yet waiting to be realized; something which is a remote possibility, and yet the greatest of present facts; something that gives meaning to all that passes, and yet eludes apprehension; something whose possession is the final good, and yet is beyond all reach; something which is the ultimate ideal, and the hopeless quest.[Alfred North Whitehead, Wikiquote]
